When I walked past my painting in school yesterday, I wanted to take it with me. It has been on that wall for a year and I thought it was time to take it home. The problem is only that I don't know where to hang up the painting at home. Probably I'll put it in my room, 'cause it's a really sad painting. I don't want to look at it every time I have a meal in the living room.
I'm not disappointed in what I've created at an art class a year ago, but I don't want to feel some kind of sadness when I see it. Mom said we could have it in the living room and even if it's sad, we can always think of how good our lives are. I think that's not going to work, I don't want to feel depressed because of a painting!
Anyway, I took some pics to show you what I'm talking about. And by the way, this is not actually my creation, (I painted it but) I took model of an original painting by Roy Lichtenstein.
Do you feel sad when you look at this?
Roy Lichtenstein :) Jag målade ju också en av hans tavlor. Snygg blev den, din tavla :)
